My Journey
Hi, my name is Dee,
I wanted to share a little of my testimony and journey and explain how, ‘Healing Eve—An Inner Healing Programme for Daughters in Christ’ came to be.
Where do I Start?
The years 2009 to 2011 were incredibly challenging, years I felt would never end. I faced numerous losses and difficulties, but Christ saw to it that a brother in Christ would be employed at my place of work.
I noticed how he carefully placed his Bible next to his computer and often took time out to read it throughout the day. His behaviour intrigued me, as I had never seen it in an office environment. Although I was familiar with Yeshua (I went to church schools), I did not have a personal relationship with Christ Yeshua. Daily prayers at school seemed repetitive and meant little to me.
The teachings of the Bible didn’t resonate with my childhood or family life. The trauma I experienced from unhealed and broken parents, along with a racist community, left me in a state of unresolved pain. I was a broken child trying to navigate a harsh world, often connecting with other broken souls who only added to my struggles, which I unwittingly accepted.

However, Yahweh, in His infinite mercy, made a way through my brokenness and pain by introducing me to His Son, Christ Yeshua. After giving my life to Christ in 2011 and obeying His call, “Healing Eve”—An Inner Healing Program for Daughters in Christ—was born. This book closely reflects the healing journey I have undertaken since 2011.
I am a worshipper who loves to praise and worship. Much of my youth was spent expressing myself through music; now, I sing for the Lord.
In addition to my Christian faith, I am a dedicated mother to two beautiful young adults, Tyrone and Melissa, who bring me joy and inspiration. Yahweh has allowed me to approach motherhood differently!

My Calling
I am also a qualified counsellor, a teacher of counselling and psychotherapy, a clinical supervisor, and a coach. My own experience of pain and trauma inspired me to support others with their own feelings of brokenness and helplessness.
Yahweh has allowed me to to combine my two greatest passions: my love for Christ and my dedication to supporting and caring for others through teaching, supporting and counselling.
I believe that nothing is wasted in the Kingdom of Yahweh!
